INTRODUCING | LüMI

In the next few few weeks I’m going to introduce you to a bunch of inspiring people from Belgium, mostly Antwerp.

Here’s my first victim, my sister Lümi.

Tell me a little about yourself! Where are you from? How old are you? What do you do?
I’m from the Moon, I’m 22 and I’m actually Sailor Chibi Moon from 1000 years in the future.


My friend Pierre made this dress for me last year, we were at this Turkish knick-knack store and we saw this fabric, so he bought some and made it for me.




This Meadham Kirchhoff dress, I bought last summer as a birthday present to myself, it’s a bit destroyed already, so I love it even more.


My Bless shirt I’ve had for almost two years now, the print just called out to me.


My favourite coat, I bought last month at a second hand store, it’s fake but I like to tell people it’s puppy fur.


The Meow t-shirt by Unif, my sister bought me for Christmas, and the skirt is just a handy basic from AA.


My Nazi shirt by Unif also, people here are easily offended by it so I like to wear it at parties mostly, I bought it last spring.

When did you start being interested in fashion?
I just like clothes, not fashion in particular, I guess I started liking to dress up a long time ago, I used to only look at Fruits magazine and stuff, I’m not so much into trends. My style didn’t change that much for a long time.

What are your current inspirations?
I draw inspiration from blurry and pixelated pictures especially stills from Japanese movies, also tacky shit like Jersey Shore.

What’s your favorite piece of clothing?
My Meadham Kirchhoff dress I bought at Ra.

What are your favorite places to shop?
I don’t really like shopping, it’s too crowded. I would say I like the unexpected, like that raver shop called Ultraviolet here and also the internet mostly…

Favorite food?
Bacon.

And a last one! What do you like to do on your free time?
Nothing much, mostly partying with friends and lounge at home.
